Assuming you are able to move easily, then you might be on the floor as some point, so comfy clothing is the order of the day. Some venues can be a little cold in the winter months so make sure you have an extra layer
You will need to bring photo id (driving license or passport), pen and paper if you want to take notes, change for the tea/coffee fund (it's £1 for as much as you can drink), a lunch you can eat at your desk, cash or card to buy any first aid supplies you might want from our pop up shop.
We ask that students don't bring their dogs to class as it may caues a problem if the dogs in attendance didn't get on. Sara will often bring a demo dog she knows well to the course so that you can have a chance to find the pulse on them and try to bandage a paw if you want.
The Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications are valid for 3 years. As a pet owner this is not probably a concern for you, but for the pet care professionals it is worth noting that you need to renew the qualification every 3 years, especially if you undertake a licensed activity such as homeboarding, running a day care or kennels/cattery.
Joining instructions are normally sent out about a week before the class, to the email address you registered with on the ProTrainings website.
Upon confirmation that you have booked on the course you can expect to receive an email with your invoice attached. These come from our accoutning software package and sometimes end up in spam/junk folders so please check for it in there. If you haven't seen it please drop Sara a text to 079 0000 7416 and she will resend and reply once it is done.
We require a minimum of 3 students to be booked on to a course for it to run, and if we need to cancel it we will contact you about a week before the course to offer to move you to another course we are running or a refund.
If you need to cancel you attendance on a course, it will only be refunded if we manage to resell the place, you will be allowed to transfer to another course date for no additional charge.
For everyone that completes the course and passes the exam at the end a completion certificate will be emailed out to you, usually within 48hrs of the course. If you would like a printed and laminated copy these can be posted out to you for an additional £5 charge.
